The Kangaroo

We took this picture at the State Fair. The Kangaroo is one of my favorite animals. Here are some interesting facts about the Kangaroo. The adult male is called a buck, the adult female is called a doe, and the baby is called a joey. A doe can get pregnant while she already has a joey outside her pouch and inside her pouch. The kangaroo prefers to run if there is danger but, if they have to, they will balance on their tail and kick their attackers in the stomach and disembowel them. Even though a joey may be outside their mothers pouch it still drinks milk. God made the mother so that she can make two kinds of milk at the same time, one for the joey outside, and one for the joey inside. The kangaroo is a herbivore. You won't see a kangaroo by itself much, they travel in mobs. The kangaroo is a marsupial and lives in Australia. The kangaroo to keep cool will drool all over itself like a spit bath.
